WorkSafe Courses
WorkSafe education courses are offered by the WorkSafeBC WorkSafe Education Network -- training providers from all sectors that meet the criteria the Board has specified. Each of the six one-day WorkSafe courses enables employers and workers to achieve different objectives.
FARSHA Training Courses
"FARSHA coordinates and delivers training on various farm safety related topics, as needed, throughout British Columbia. Courses are available on-site or off-site and some are available in other languages. "The Farm Safety Association has developed a multimedia Tractor Safety training program. It includes a 114-page booklet plus a CD-ROM. "Farm Safety Association has produced an interactive CD training program that deals with confined spaces and dangerous gases in the agricultural workplace. It was developed with assistance from the Canadian Agricultural Safety Association, Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, and the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture and Food and Rural Affairs.
The training program, which includes an interactive CD plus a manual, covers the hazards that may be encountered in confined spaces. It also details the precautions required in a variety of situations, including confined space entry procedures."
