Fraser Health Authority

Fraser Health (FH) serves 1.47 million people living in 20 municipalities and two electoral areas, or one-third of the B.C. population. Fraser Health has over 23,000 employers at over 80 locations.


Interior Health Authority

Interior Health (IH) serves a region that stretches from Williams Lake to the US border, and from Anahim Lake in the Chilcotin to the Alberta border, covering 233,000, employing approximately 18,000 staff in approximately 130 sites (including 22 acute and 40 residential care sites).

Northern Health Authority

Employing approximately 7000 persons and covering over 600,000, Northern Health (NH) provides all disciplines of health care services to the northern region of British Columbia. The vision in Northern Health is to be a model of excellence in rural health care.

Provincial Health Services Authority

There are a total of 10,207 employees in the PHSA, with facilities that include: Children's and Women's Health Care Centre, Sunnyhill Health Centre, BC Cancer Agency, BC Centre for Disease Control, BC Rental Agency, BC Transplant Society, BC Mental Health and Addiction Services, PHSA Academic Development and Research, and PHSA Laboratories.

Vancouver Coastal Health Authority

Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) and its 22,000 staff members provide a full range of health care services, ranging from hospital treatment to community-based residential, home health, mental health and public health, to 25% of the province's population covering 58 560

Vancouver Island Health Authority

The Vancouver Island Health Authority (VIHA) employs approximately 16,000 healthcare professionals, technicians and support staff in more than 130 sites. Its primary mandate is to provide healthcare services to the 700,000 plus residents of Vancouver Island, as well as to others living in outlying communities north of Powell River and on the islands south of Rivers Inlet and in the Strait of Georgia.


Providence Health Care Society

Providence Health Care (PHC) and its 6,500 staff provide vital health care services to patient and residents from the Lower Mainland and the rest of British Columbia, in partnership with Vancouver Coastal Health, Provincial Health Services Authority and University of British Columbia.
