WorkSafe Courses


WorkSafe education courses are offered by the WorkSafeBC WorkSafe Education Network -- training providers from all sectors that meet the criteria the Board has specified. Each of the six one-day WorkSafe courses enables employers and workers to achieve different objectives.

BC's Canadian Society of Safety Engineering (CSSE) Achievement Recognition Awards Program


The BC/Yukon Region of the Canadian Society of Safety Engineering (CSSE) Awards Program recognizes the achievements of both individuals and organizations that have made significant contributions to safety in the workplace.

Individual awards are available for both CSSE and non-CSSE members.

Organization awards are available in three different categories

  • 1-50 employees or members
  • 51-500 employees or members
  • over 500 employees or members

There are also several specialty awards for safety innovation, truck safety, and young worker safety projects.

Submit an entry for yourself or someone else. Deadline for submissions is June 25, 2010.

Awards will be presented at the BC CSSE Achievement Recognition Awards and NAOSHWeek safety forum and awards luncheon on October 21, 2010.
