WorkSafeBC

WorkSafeBC requires training of Traffic Control Persons (TCPs) in a manner acceptable to WorkSafeBC. For high-risk locations, the acceptable required training is provided through the Construction Safety Network. For locations that are not high-risk, employers are required to ensure the appropriate training for their workers.

OHS Guideline G18.4(1) sets out the criteria by which employers need to provide or evaluate appropriate training for their workplace. It will be amended to include the provision of a jurisprudence package if necessary.
