 Emergency Work Close to Energized
High-Voltage Lines


 

Emergency work near high-voltage linesUnder section 19.28 of the OHS Regulation and section 115(2)(e) of the Workers Compensation Act, workers who carry out emergency actions close to energized high-voltage systems must be aware of high-voltage hazards and appropriate safe work procedures. A worker must be able to present a certificate issued by an approved course provider, if required by a WorkSafeBC officer.
