WHMIS The basics - This booklet explains the basics of Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS), including: background to WHMIS development, hazard classifications, labels, Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS), and WHMIS Program education/Implementation. By understanding the information in this book, workers learn where to look on the label of a controlled product, where to look on a Material Safety Data Sheet, and what to discuss with supervisors.

WHMIS Learning Resource Instructor's Manual - This instructor's manual is designed to assist you in delivering WHMIS education. This manual may also serve as a self-study guide. The manual provides a means of reinforcing general WHMIS concepts presented in the WHMIS video. It will also give direction on how to begin to apply those concepts to the specific training needs in the workplace.

WorkSafeBC Video - WHMIS: what's it all about Call number: V273 - In this video, Canadian workers are introduced to legislation dealing with hazardous materials in the workplace. The 14 minute film examines labelling, Material Safety Data Sheets, and worker education. Hazardous materials include compressed gases, flammable, combustible, oxidizing, poisonous, corrosive, and dangerously reactive materials. (1988)
