WorkSafeBC launches graphic safety campaign
Blood and guts bring message home to young workers
Every workday in B.C., 38 young workers are injured on the job. This new safety campaign – including radio ads, posters, and an interactive web site – is aimed at 16- to 24-year-olds, who make up 14 percent of B.C.’s workforce (about 300,000 workers).

B.C. Faller Certification – Final Deadline: July 31, 2006
If you – or a faller who works for you – have not yet registered and scheduled a certification exam, please call the B.C. Forest Safety Council toll-free at: 1-877-324-1212. Employers and fallers are now subject to WorkSafeBC enforcement actions if fallers are not certified. (PDF 120 KB) |
