Earbuds isolate you from your work environment and workplace hazards. Deaf to the Danger includes three short scenarios (warehouse, sawmill, and packaging plant) that demonstrate some of the dangers of wearing earbuds on the job.

WorkSafeBC expands Teleclaim to B.C.’s Interior and North
New service available April 16, 2007
Starting April 16, workers in B.C's Interior and North can report injuries by calling the Teleclaim Contact Centre Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., at 1 888 WORKERS (1 888 967-5377), or #5377 for Telus, Rogers, and Bell mobility customers.

WorkSafeBC introduces GoldStar Clearances
Coming in May 2007
A new type of clearance will be available beginning in May 2007. Current clearances "clear" firms for past payroll periods - GoldStar Clearances will be advanced to qualifying firms to the start of the next quarter, reducing risk exposure as well as administration for firms that employ subcontractors.
