Regulation amendments effective July 26, 2007
Regulations on training and orientation for new and young workers, and on safety-engineered devices for hollow bore needles and other medical sharps, have been amended.
 
 
Table of Exposure Limits for Chemical and Biological Substances updated
The Table of Exposure Limits for Chemical and Biological Substances has been updated. Noteworthy changes include the addition of six new substances to the Table, such as dimethyl disulfide and methyl naphthalene, and significantly reduced exposure limits for toluene and trichloroethylene.

Campaign urges youth to ask questions about safety at work
B.C. youth can visit the site, customize their own hand picture, and post their personal experience of safety in the workplace. The site also offers industry-specific information on safety and tips on how to ask questions about workplace safety.
