Order
your Decals and Posters to Participate in the
Day of Mourning on April 28th
Every
year, WorkSafeBC, the B.C. Federation of Labour, and the
Business Council of British Columbia co-host a public
ceremony to remember workers who have lost their lives
as a result of work-related accidents or occupational
diseases.
This year, the Day of Mourning ceremony will be held on
Wednesday, April 28, 10:30 a.m., on the southwest side of
the Vancouver Convention Centre (1055 Canada Place). Families,
workers, employers, and other interested parties are invited
to attend. |

Order
decals and posters
You and your co-workers can wear the decals to help raise
awareness of the importance of safety at work, and to remember
those who lost their lives in the course of their work.
Put the posters
in places where staff are likely to see them and discuss them.
We have decals with regular adhesive and decals with adhesive
suitable for hard hats. Please indicate how many decals of
each kind (regular and/or hard hat) and how many posters you
require, and provide your contact information.
We'll also be compiling a list of public Day of Mourning ceremonies
throughout the province, so please include your ceremony details.

Thank
you for participating in this year's Day of Mourning activities.
Sincerely,
Gladys Johnsen,
Manager, Public Affairs,
WorkSafeBC
