October is Occupational Ergonomics Month

Occupational Ergonomics Month is an outreach campaign focused on increasing awareness and advancing the science and application of ergonomics and human factors in the workplace.

Workers, employers and health & safety practitioners are encouraged to join in celebrating and promoting Occupational Ergonomics Month. To get involved, visit our web site. For this year's campaign, WorkSafeBC is sponsoring an "Innovations Contest" for ergonomic ideas that have made a positive difference in your workplace. One lucky contest submission will be randomly drawn to win an iPod touch.

Collaboration to enhance learning and initiating outreach activities is encouraged. By sharing ideas and resources, we can all benefit.
