Policy Consultation - Cost Relief for Subsequent Non-Compensable Incidents

WorkSafeBC's governing body, the Board of Directors, has approved the release of a discussion paper with options to stakeholders for comment.

At issue is whether an employer should receive cost relief in cases where a subsequent non-compensable incident delays a worker’s recovery from a compensable disability.

The consultation period for this item will end on May 14, 2010. The Board of Directors will consider stakeholder feedback before making a decision on the proposed policy.
