Please indicate your preferred option: [Required]
1 - Status quo - Principals would continue to receive compensation based on an estimate of a reasonable wage for their work in situations where they had nominal or no earnings, unlike other workers. The firms of such principals would continue to pay little or no assessment premiums for their work.
2 - Compensate principals based on their actual earnings - Policy would provide that a principal will be compensated based on his or her actual earnings (subject to the statutory maximum), as other workers are. Policy would also provide that a principal's earnings may include dividend and shareholder loan payments. A description identifying a principal would also be added to policy.
