1 - Status quo - The Notification of Decisions and Notification of Rights of Review and Appeal policies would not be amended.
2 - Revise the Notification of Decisions policy to clarify that decisions can be communicated either verbally or in writing, and when the statutory time limitations commence for the reconsideration and review provisions found in the Workers Compensation Act.

Revise the Notification of Rights of Review and Appeal policy to clarify that notification of rights of review and appeal are required on rejected claims.
