1 - Status quo - Policy would not be changed.
2 - Apportion dividends between profit and labour. Policy would set out criteria to guide firms and WorkSafeBC on how to determine the portion of dividends that represents payment for services to active principals.
3 - Assess dividends paid to active principals. Policy would be amended to state that dividends paid to active principals are included in assessable payroll.
4 - Exclude dividends from assessable payroll. Policy would be amended to delete the reference to dividends being included in assessable payroll.
