The Rigging Slinger stopped the turn and went in to check the
rigging (he thought a choker had slipped off). He then went
straight out, about 38 feet, and blew "go-ahead." Directly above
him was a 56-foot log lying crossways under the turn. As the
turn moved ahead it caused the cross log to swing down the hill, striking the Rigging Slinger on the head.
