A faller-buncher machine worked its way up a 50 percent hill at a 30-39 percent angle. The Operator started down the trail when it appears the lower track dropped off a stump. The machine then overbalanced and rolled one-and-a-half times down the hill. Neither the guards nor the cab were damaged. The Operator was not wearing a seat belt and suffered fatal head injuries during the violent roll.
